Admission Procedure
MBA
Candidates who have applied for admission to ICEMI will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT / MAT / XAT scores. The shortlisted candidates will be called for face to face evaluation process for final selection in July (For summer session) and in January (for Winter session). [Interview centres – Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Guwahati]
The final selection will be made on the basis of the following:
- CAT / MAT / IAT scores (50% weightage)
- The candidate’s past academic performance (10% weightage)
- Performance in face to face evaluation process, i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview (30 % weightage) and
- Work experience (10% weightage), if any.
The academic session would begin in last week of July (For summer session) and last week of January (for Winter session).
For further evaluation, the qualifying cut-off IAT score will be lowered by 15 points for candidates of Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur and other East Indian States domicile/origin and also for Students from Orissa. Documentary evidence of domicile will have to be supplied along with the completed Application Form.
The candidates will be admitted on the basis of rank secured at the Interview and the entire selection process
- The Convener admits 80% of the intake to the MBA programme based on the rank.
- The Management admits the remaining 20% under Management and NRI quota.

80% admission by Admission Committee
Direct admission for candidates scoring at least 60%, (out of best five subjects) on first come first serve basis. If any seat remains vacant, the admission committee will publish a list for the applicants, who did not get direct admission.
20% seats are reserved and filled up by Management and NRI quota
For all above candidates, a short personal interview is arranged, so as to shortlist them as well to test their knowledge and English communication skills.

Loan is available with the following banks; however the documentations and the interest rates are different for different banks
according to their internal policies.

Fees and Deposits
Payment of tution fees must be made within the scheduled dates. In case of any delay, prior permission must be taken from the Director of the Institute. Fees are subject to change without prior notice. Students shall have to submit a refundable security and library deposit of Rs. 2000.00.
Application Fees
The cost of the Application Form and Prospectus is Rs. 400.00 in cash. To receive the same by post, candidates need to send a DD for Rs. 450.00 in favour of "I.C.E.
